Promoting Your Work
One of the first questions I am asked when people see the huge inventory site of my original artwork which includes Prints of original oil paintings, water color, photography and illustrations is "How on earth do you promote your work?"
Well it can be very daunting to the beginning artist because they may have gotten all kinds of solicitations and offers sometimes ranging in the thousands of dollars just to get a website up and running - not to mention getting it out to where people can see it. I know because I have been there and experienced it and some of it is very tempting because of course we love our work and want to share it with as many people as possible.
Well, I am fortunate to have a good friend with whom I have worked over the years whenever I needed graphic work done and she turned me onto "Fine Art America" which has been one of the most exciting ventures I have taken as far as promoting our work. You see My Wife Robbie and I both work together in our creation of art as well as in writing books. so it is "Ours".
There are many other ways to promote your work but for this page I will share only the .opportunity to get your work up quickly and available to the masses within a short period of time.
Now you are probably thinking to yourself "How Much is this going to cost me?" The good news is that you can get up and running for absolutely FREE! Gotta love that "FREE".
You will need to have a good digital camera in order to produce the photos of your artwork to upload to the FAA site. Other than that there is no cost what-so-ever.
Our favorite person to help you promote your artwork is: Jamie Pelaez with Called To Market and link to www.calledtomarket.com Jamie has worked with me on many design projects over the years and has always done a professional job and is a true pleasure to work with.
