Fresh Simple foods are usually the best and this is one of our favorites as my Mother-In-Law would usually make these for Sunday Dinner in addition to Meat Balls and pasta or ravioli or Lasagna back in the 196's. Food was an art in those days and we have such wonderful memories of the family all gathered around the dining room table. There was always fruit and nuts followed by wonderful Italian Pastries from up the block once the dishes were all done. Old Fashioned Recipes are the best to us!
